Companies from all around the world are leaving Russia as the country’s economy collapses because of its invasion of Ukraine.

Ford

Spotify announced on Wednesday that it has “indefinitely” closed its office in Russia and limited programs “owned and run by Russian state-affiliated media.” According to a corporate spokeswoman, the streaming service pulled all programming from RT and Sputnik across Europe and other locations.

YouTube
Over the weekend, YouTube, which is owned by Google, announced that it has blocked Russian state media in Ukraine, including RT. The video platform also stated that “substantially reducing recommendations to these channels” will be implemented.
Google and YouTube have also announced that they would no longer allow Russian state-owned media to display advertisements or monetize their content.
Entertainment Industry
Disney
Disney became the first global entertainment company to halt theatrical releases in Russia.
“We are suspending the distribution of theatrical films in Russia, including Pixar’s upcoming ‘Turning Red,’ because of the unwarranted invasion of Ukraine and the awful humanitarian disaster,” the firm stated in a statement.
Warner Bros
Following suit, Warner Bros. said that it will halt all releases in Russia, including “The Batman.”
Fashion
H & M Group
H&M said that all sales in Russia will be intermitted.
“The awful developments in Ukraine worry H&M Group, and we stand with all those who are suffering,” the business stated in a statement. “H&M Group cares about all of its employees and stands with all those who are asking for peace across the world.”
Adidas
On Tuesday, Adidas announced the termination of its cooperation with the Russian Football Union. The declaration comes just one day after FIFA barred Russia’s national teams from participating in international football tournaments, including the 2022 World Cup for men.
With new capital regulations announced this week, Russia is attempting to halt the outflow.
